With more than 20 years in the mortgage industry, including nearly two decades on the underwriting side, I bring a different perspective to lending. I understand what happens behind the scenes, what lenders are looking for, and most importantly, how to find solutions when a deal doesn’t fit neatly inside the box.
Today, I work with everyone from first-time homebuyers and seasoned investors to builders, developers, business owners and self-employed borrowers. My experience spans traditional residential lending, construction and renovation financing, hard money and bridge loans, commercial lending, DSCR, bank statement and other non-QM programs, as well as creative financing solutions for more complex scenarios.
Some loans are straightforward. Others require the right product, the right structure and sometimes the right combination of people to get the deal across the finish line. Those are often my favorite ones.
My underwriting background allows me to look beyond the surface of a loan and identify potential challenges early, structure financing strategically and help my clients understand their options before they make their next move.
